Shopify developer for home, heating and building products
Heating, dehumidifiers, swim spas, pergolas, fireplaces, lighting, signage and window film: stores where products are large, configurable or installed, with credit checks, installation pricing and discount logic to match.
9 projects. I worked on most of them as a developer at aiconomy AG or WebGurus; each project page says which parts I built myself.
Storefront for a Swiss supplier of heating and dehumidification products, plus theme repositories for the sister stores Infrarotheizung and Luftentfeuchter.
Custom discount and cart logic for a Swiss swim spa and cold plunge retailer, where the price depends on whether the customer installs the product themselves or books the installation team.
Sister store of Ecofort for infrared heating: theme repository setup and the Intrum credit check fix, so outages are no longer shown to customers as credit declines.
Tag-driven price visibility on the theme: the client hides the price of any product just by tagging it in the Shopify admin, on both product pages and collection listings.
On Ecofort, customers paying by invoice were being told no whenever the credit check provider had an outage. How I separated 'declined' from 'did not answer', and the performance pass that came with the same project.
At Spa Solutions, the price of a swim spa depends on who installs it. As the sole developer, I built that choice into the product page and the cart with dynamic Shopify discounts and installation products that can never drift out of sync.
On Art of Fire the team hides the price of any product by adding a tag in the Shopify admin, with no code change. How tag-driven price visibility works in a theme, where it has to apply, and what it does not hide.
